Atlantic City’s Winter Wonderland Parade Moves to Boardwalk This Year
Posted October 25, 2024Since his 2024 ‘State of the City’ address, City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. has said he wants to make this year’s City-organized Winter Wonderland Parade the “biggest parade in Atlantic City since Ms. America.”
During a press conference at Tanger Outlets officially announcing the 2024 Atlantic City Tinseltown Experience, Mayor Small revealed the 2024 Winter Wonderland Parade, taking place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, will be held on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk for the first time in the parade’s history. The procession is from Rhode Island Avenue to Albany Avenue. Festivities after the parade, which will include holiday treats, music and entertainment, will take place at O’Donnell Park.
The procession will consist of a mixture of floats, decorated vehicles and marchers on foot. Participants include Mayor Small and City department representatives, the Atlantic City Police Department, the Atlantic City Fire Department, the Atlantic City Beach Patrol, casinos, the neighborhood CDCs and other local groups and organizations, and marching bands and other performers from all over the State of New Jersey, among others. Spectators can enjoy the parade from anywhere on the Boardwalk from start to finish.
