Councilwoman-at-Large Stephanie Marshall

Stephanie Marshall is a native of the Great City of Atlantic City.  She grew up in Bacharach and Atlantic City apartments.  After graduating from Atlantic City High School in 1991, she attended Atlantic Cape Community College’s Atlantic City branch, which was in walking distant from her home.  She then transferred to Kean University where she majored in Finance and minored in African American Studies graduating in 2001.  She volunteered during her college years and learned the value in giving back to her community.

After graduating from college, Ms. Marshall decided to come back to the City in which she loves.  She began volunteering in the community, first becoming a youth adviser for the NAACP.  She is currently a Commissioner on the Atlantic City Housing Authority board serving as the Treasurer, a position she has held since 2009.  In 2018 she became a member of the Atlantic City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., continuing her commitment to community service.    

Ms.  Marshall has worked for the City of Atlantic City as an Accountant, Health Care as a Finance Director and currently as the Bookkeeper for the Atlantic City Board of Education.  This experience has given her the knowledge needed to understand budgeting, Federal grants, finance, and procurement laws.  In 2004 she purchased her home in the great City of Atlantic City. 

After 20 years of volunteering and serving the community, she is ready to serve the great residence of the City of Atlantic City as Council-At-Large.
