The Sanitation Division provides environmental services to all six wards of the City of Atlantic City. The division’s mission and responsibilities include:

Trash collection

• The Sanitation Division is responsible for residential collection in all six wards as well as the Board of Education. Upon request, the Sanitation Division can also deliver receptacles to city residents, churches, and businesses.

Street cleaning

• The Sanitation Division is responsible for street cleaning of City-owned streets. Residents are encouraged to following parking signage posted on City streets, which indicate the specific days/times that parking restriction be in place. The street cleaning schedule can be viewed here.
