The City Engineer’s Office is the City's lead agency for the budgeting, planning, design, construction management and construction inspections of public buildings and infrastructure improvements.  Projects include municipal buildings, such as police and fire stations, as well as bridges, roadway, transportation, traffic signalization, bulkhead projects, and storm water systems. The Office also manages permitting for construction in the public right-of-way, and with the Boardwalk areas.
