City of Atlantic City Hands Out Hundreds of Winter Coats to Residents During Brutal Cold Stretch
Posted February 04, 2026As frigid temperatures continue to grip the region, City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. hosted a Winter Coat Giveaway for residents. The initiative was designed to provide immediate relief to those affected by the prolonged stretch of extreme cold.
More than 300 residents came to City Hall to receive winter coats. Men’s and women’s coats were distributed in a wide range of adult and children’s sizes to help ensure residents stay warm during the harsh elements.
The winter coats were generously donated to the city. Any remaining coats will be distributed at the City of Atlantic City’s upcoming “Heat the Streets” event later this month (details announced soon).
