City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. has announced that BRT Weekend in Atlantic City this summer will not be taking place on Chelsea Avenue Beach in front of the Ocean Club Condominiums, but rather the City of Atlantic City intends to host the weekend-long music festival from July 11-13 on Atlantic City’s Missouri Avenue Beach. In addition, Mayor Small announced that no large or even medium-scale events will be scheduled at any point on the beach in front of the Ocean Club. The City of Atlantic City has also entered discussions about permanently moving Chelsea Beach Bar to another location along the Boardwalk, however Chelsea Beach Bar will be operating from its current location this summer under its current lease.
