The City of Atlantic City, through South State Inc., will begin to implement major infrastructure improvements in Venice Park with the commencement of construction on the First Venice Park Bridge (over Penrose Avenue) The First Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as the bridge will be replaced in its entirety. The bridge closure will go into effect on Monday, December 6, 2021. Project information and details on the detour route can be found below.
