Mayor Small to Represent Atlantic City at National Convening of Black Mayors in Philadelphia
Posted May 22, 2023City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. will be a participant in the 3rd Annual National Convening of Black Mayors in Philadelphia, PA this week, organized by the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE (AACC).
The event begins Tuesday evening with a welcome reception at the African-American Museum in Philadelphia. On Wednesday morning, Mayor Small and participating mayors will network with business and political leaders at the 6abc Studios on City Ave, and take part in a live taping of a roundtable discussion.
“It is truly humbling to be selected to represent the great City of Atlantic City at this convening,” says Mayor Small. “There are important conversations that must be had on many different topics, including ways to pave the way for more Black and Brown owned businesses. That’s always been a priority of the Small administration, and I look forward to sharing strategies with my colleagues from across the country.”
