ACPD Elevates 13 to Police Officer, 1 to SLEO Class II
Posted October 21, 2022The Atlantic City Police Department announces thirteen Special Law Enforcement Officers have been elevated to fulltime police officer positions and one individual has been sworn in as a Special Law Enforcement Officer. The new officers will be immediately assigned to the Operations Division. “I am proud to have sworn in 13 new fulltime Officers and one Special Law Enforcement Officer today.” Chief James Sarkos said. “I am confident they will have impactful, meaningful, and rewarding careers here in our great city.” The ceremony was held at City Hall in Council Chambers. Mayor Marty Small Sr. administered the oath of office.
