Air Show Restrictions August 22-24, 2022

UPDATE 08.22.2022 - There will be an Air Show safety zone box in the water, enforced by the Coast Guard and New Jersey State Police. No vessels will be allowed to be in the box during the show.

The position of the box is as follows:
Point 1: 39-21’.143N 074-24’.793W
Point 2: 39-20’.272N 074-27’.272W
Point 3: 39-20’.740N 074-27’.513W
Point 4: 39-21’.529N 074-25’.062W

The Coast Guard asks anyone dealing with an emergency or with questions about the safety zone to contact the Coast Guard Atlantic City on VHF Channel 16.

Make sure you check your boat plugs and safety equipment prior to prior to heading out during the AC Air Show.

An Air Show safety issue for all concerned that must be followed is the restriction of any drones, parasailing, kite flying, or any other device within a 10-mile radius of the Air Show space on the practice days Monday, August 22, 2022 and Tuesday, August 23, 2022 and the day of the Air Show, Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

Any drones or other devices used in violation of this restriction will be confiscated and their operators arrested.

The restriction has been the practice for the past 19 years and continues with the compliance of all municipalities from Longport to Brigantine.

The exact restricted area runs from 23rd Street in Longport to South Roosevelt Boulevard in Brigantine.

Practice and Air Show times are as follows:
Monday, August 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
