With the new school year just around the corner, the City of Atlantic City Office of Multicultural Services, City of Atlantic City Youth Services and partnering organizations will host an End of Summer Back to School Celebration on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pennsylvania Avenue School. The event will provide Atlantic City families with free back-to-school resources and activities to help students prepare for the year ahead.

Mayor Marty Small, Sr. and his wife, Dr. La’Quetta Small, Superintendent of Atlantic City Public Schools, will host a special book bag giveaway as part of the celebration thanks to a generous donation from the organization Charity Kings. Families can also receive free school supplies and uniforms and take advantage of health screenings.

Free transportation will be available from three pickup locations to make it easier for residents to attend.
