Atlantic City Beach Patrol Claims First Place at Home Lifeguard Classic
Posted July 27, 2026The Atlantic City Beach Patrol defended its home beach in dominant fashion, capturing the team title at the 33rd Chief Rod Aluise Atlantic City Lifeguard Classic with an outstanding performance across multiple events.
The ACBP earned first-place finishes in the Surf Dash Relay, led by Will Bradley, Emma Crozier-Carole, Johnny Hughes, and Luke Kerrigan, and the Doubles Rescue Relay with Kyle Deroo and Taylor Dirkes. Vince Granese finished second in the Singles competition and teamed with Nick Guidara for a third-place finish in the Doubles event. Atlantic City also placed third in the Doubles Row Relay with Kyle Deroo, Michelle Burwell, Julianna Granese, and Nick Guidara, while Harrison Gillman, Boden Keim, Charles Schreiner, and Kevin Wallace earned fourth place in the Swim Paddle Relay.
The strong showing continues the Atlantic City Beach Patrol's long tradition of excellence, showcasing the skill, teamwork, and dedication of the lifeguards who help keep Atlantic City's beaches among the safest in the nation.
