Atlantic City continues to strengthen public safety through strategic investments in modern technology, designed to better protect residents and visitors.

The Atlantic City Police Department has introduced “Megatron,” a $1.6 Million state-of-the-art Mobile Command Post funded entirely through the city’s $2 hotel occupancy fee, with no local taxpayer dollars used.

The new resource provides first responders with a dedicated mobile headquarters for improved communication, coordination, and emergency response during major events, critical incidents, and emergencies.
