Heat Advisory In Effect July 2nd to July 4th, 2026
Posted June 30, 2026Dangerously hot conditions are coming to Atlantic City. A Heat Advisory is in effect Thursday afternoon, July 2 through Saturday evening, July 4, 2026 with heat index values reaching up to 110 degrees.
SAFETY FIRST:
- Stay hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day
- Limit outdoor time between 10 AM and 6 PM
- Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and use sunscreen
- Take breaks in air-conditioned or shaded areas
- Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles
- Check on older adults, young children, and anyone with chronic medical conditions
Watch for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke: dizziness, nausea, rapid pulse, confusion, or loss of consciousness. If someone shows these signs, call 911 immediately and move them to a cooler location.
