Atlantic City recently welcomed community leaders, violence intervention professionals, faith leaders, youth advocates, and national experts for the three-day Pull Up 4 Peace Conference at Showboat Resort, an event focused on building safer, stronger communities through collaboration and action.
 
Hosted by the City of Atlantic City's O.N.E. Neighborhood Evolution Anti-Violence Division and partnering organizations, the conference featured panel discussions, workshops, and keynote presentations on topics including violence intervention, youth empowerment, healing-centered practices, leadership development, civic engagement, and community rebuilding. Attendees also heard powerful stories of resilience from survivors and frontline leaders committed to reducing violence.
 
Mayor Marty Small, Sr., members of the City's Anti-Violence Division, and influencers Shabazz The OG and Wallo267 were among those who participated in the conference.
 
The conference concluded with a Peace Walk from Showboat to City Hall, where participants marched together in solidarity to promote the message that violence is not acceptable.
