The Atlantic City Beach Patrol's Junior Guard Program is designed to instruct future lifeguards in ocean safety and ocean rescue techniques:

• Develop superior aquatic athletic performance.
• Become a valued member of the Atlantic City Public Safety Team.
• Master all of the skills necessary to pass the Beach Patrol test and become an Atlantic City lifeguard at 16 years of age.
