Posted March 06, 2026

DETAILS
The 38th Annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk on Saturday, March 7, 2026 beginning at approximately 1:00 PM. The parade will start at Ocean Casino Resort and proceed south along the Boardwalk to Albany Avenue.

Spectators can enjoy the parade from anywhere along the Boardwalk route. There truly isn’t a bad spot to watch! Additional details and updates can be found on the parade’s official website.

TRAFFIC & PUBLIC SAFETY
The Atlantic City Police Department will have officers—both uniformed and plainclothes—stationed throughout the parade route to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. Underage drinking will not be tolerated, and all related laws will be strictly enforced.

Traffic detours and delays will be in place from approximately 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM to allow paradegoers to safely exit the Boardwalk area. All times are approximate. Traffic will be detoured at the following locations:

  • Atlantic Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.
  • Pacific Avenue from Albany Avenue to Boston Avenue will be closed.
  • Providence Avenue from Captain John O’Donnell Parkway to Pacific Avenue will be closed.
  • Hartford Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue will be closed.

The Atlantic City Police Department encourages attendees to use a jitney, rideshare service, taxi, or to be a HERO and serve as the designated driver for your group. Please do not drink and drive.

ECONOMIC IMPACT
During a news conference last month at City Hall with Mayor Small and the Parade Committee, it was announced that the parade is expected to generate approximately $5 million in economic impact for Atlantic City. The city and parade organizers encourage both residents and visitors to support local businesses before and after the parade. Mayor Small and various city departments will be participating.
