We encourage everyone to participate and take advantage of these exciting community opportunities. Click the event titles below for additional details and registration information, where applicable.
Boots on the Ground Line Dancing
Atlantic City Recreation is turning up the energy with free, adults-only Line Dance Classes! Hosted by Tiffani Drinks and the Atlantic City Soul Line Dancers, Boots on the Ground takes place Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Uptown School (323 Madison Avenue).
Community Iftar
The Mayor’s Office of Special Events will host a Ramadan Community Iftar at the All Wars Memorial Building (1510 Adriatic Avenue) on Wednesday, March 4th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Community members are invited to break their fast together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own prayer rugs.
Lunar New Year Celebration
Join the City of Atlantic City Multicultural Services Office on Thursday, March 5th, outside City Hall beginning at 11:45 AM to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This festive event will feature a Lion Dance performance you won’t want to miss!
Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The historic Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7th, beginning at Ocean Casino Resort and proceeding to Albany Avenue. Spectators can enjoy the parade from anywhere along the Boardwalk route.
Spring Potluck
The Green Coalition of AC invites residents to share a cherished family dish made with locally grown produce and tell the story behind it. This celebration of culture and cuisine will take place on March 19th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the All Wars Memorial Building (1510 Adriatic Avenue).
Fathers Taking Initiative
This month, Atlantic City’s O.N.E. Neighborhood Evolution Anti-Violence Unit launches Fathers Taking Initiative, a community-rooted program designed by and for local fathers. Created by a team of dedicated leaders, this initiative focuses on healing, empowerment, and strengthening families by supporting fathers as community anchors.
Beats Not Bullets
O.N.E. Neighborhood Evolution is also introducing Beats Not Bullets, a Music Production Program for students in grades 8–12. Participants will explore audio recording, performance, beat-making, entrepreneurship, and more in a creative and positive environment.
Mic Drop the Violence
Registration is now open for Atlantic City Reentry Services’ Mic Drop the Violence: Second Chance Spotlight Talent Showcase on April 2nd at the All Wars Memorial Building (1510 Adriatic Avenue). Not performing? No problem! The community is welcome to attend and show support.
Women’s History Month Sip & Paint
Celebrate Women’s History Month at a special Sip & Paint event hosted by the Mayor’s Office of Special Events on Friday, March 13 from 6–9 PM at the All Wars Memorial Building, Ballroom 1 (1510 Adriatic Ave.).
