Free City of Atlantic City Events & Programs - February 2026
Posted January 30, 2026The City of Atlantic City is proud to offer the following free events and programs throughout the month of February for the Atlantic City community. Residents are encouraged to participate and take advantage of these opportunities:
Community Cool Out – February 6
It may be cold outside, but Atlantic City Recreation’s First Friday Community Cool Out is bringing the heat. This 21-and-over event takes place on Friday, February 6, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM and features after-hours vibes, fun activities, music, and a grown-folks atmosphere. Please note that the Paint & Sip portion of this event is officially full and closed for registration; however, there will still be plenty of activities to enjoy.
Resume Building Workshop – February 10
The City of Atlantic City Job Readiness & Employment Resource Program, under the CDBG Office, in partnership with Jewish Family Service, is hosting a free Resume Building Workshop designed to help residents enhance their employability. Participants will have the opportunity to create professional resumes, access job leads and gain valuable training to support career success. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 10, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the PAL Building, located at 250 North New York Avenue.
LGBTQ Mixer – February 12
The Mayor’s Office of LGBT+ Affairs will host a Pre-Valentine’s Day LGBTQ Mixer on February 12 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Byrdcage (3426 Atlantic Avenue). This celebration of love, legacy, and life will also help commemorate the Byrdcage’s one-year anniversary and will include recognition of LGBTQ advocates who have made meaningful contributions to the community.
Senior Valentine’s Ball – February 13
Atlantic City senior residents are invited to eat, dance, and celebrate at the Friendship & Love Valentine’s Ball on Friday, February 13 from 4:00-8:00 PM. This event is organized by the Atlantic City Senior Services Division and is open to residents ages 55 and older (call 609-347-5458). Held in the Grand Ballroom of The Claridge Hotel, the evening is designed to provide seniors with a memorable night of music, dancing, and community fellowship.
Heat the Streets Resource Fair – February 17
The City of Atlantic City Reentry Services Division, under the Department of Health and Human Services, will host a “Heat the Streets” Sweater and Socks Resource Fair on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Center City Park (Bacharach Boulevard between North and South Carolina Avenues). The event is designed to provide warmth, support, and essential resources to residents during the cold winter months.
Intermediate Spanish Course - Starts February 18
City of Atlantic City’s Office of Multicultural Services, in partnership with Atlantic Cape Community College, is offering an Intermediate Spanish course for those who already know the basics and want to build confidence. Classes begin February 18 at 5:00 PM at the ACCC building. Registration is required.
Family Paint Night – February 19
Atlantic City Youth Services invites families to participate in a free Family Paint Night on February 19 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soldier’s Home, located at 1510 Adriatic Avenue. Participants will enjoy a pre-printed canvas, food, and a welcoming environment for creativity. No painting experience is needed. All participating children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older, and advance registration is required.
Path to Employment Workshop - February 26
The City of Atlantic City Job Readiness & Employment Resource Program and the Midtown CDC are partnering for Path to Employment Workshops on Thursday, February 26th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the AtlantiCare Medical Arts Pavillion (7 S. Ohio Avenue). This FREE workshop offers you the chance to build confidence, sharpen your skills, and prepare for your next big opportunity, with a focus job readiness, career exploration, and résumé support.
