Public Works Continues Clearing Streets, Removing Snow
Posted January 29, 2026The Atlantic City Department of Public Works has been out every single day since last weekend’s storm clearing snow from the sides of roads and street corners, working hard to keep our streets safe and accessible. This effort is also to support our local businesses by opening up street parking spaces.
With more snow forecasted for this weekend, Public Works will remain out treating the roads.
As a Public Safety reminder, it is important to remember that residents and businesses are responsible for clearing sidewalks, walkways and building entrances in front of their properties.
Please continue using caution when getting around Atlantic City as icy conditions remain, with the city in a Code Blue through at least Tuesday morning.
