Thousands Unite for Historic Atlantic City Holiday Parade & Market
Posted December 15, 2025December 13, 2025, will be remembered as one of the most magical and meaningful days in Atlantic City’s history. An estimated 5,000 residents and visitors lined the streets to witness the city’s annual Holiday Parade. This event reached new heights this year by bringing the community together in a powerful display of celebration.
New this year, the parade marched during the early evening hours, allowing the glow of lights and festive décor to transform Atlantic Avenue into a true winter wonderland. Equally historic was the parade’s route, traveling from City Hall to Albany Avenue. This welcomed even more neighborhoods into the festivities, energized local businesses who got a meaningful economic boost, and showcased the beauty of Atlantic City during the holiday season.
Leading the procession was Mayor Marty Small, Sr., riding atop the first float, followed by more than 80 additional floats, vehicles, and walking performance groups. The parade featured a mix of city departments, local businesses, community organizations, the Atlantic City Community Development Corporations, local schools, and numerous performance groups. The event’s reach extended beyond city borders, welcoming participants from nearby towns.
Further adding to the historic nature of the day was the debut of the Holiday Village, a brand-new addition that quickly became a crowd favorite. At the conclusion of the parade, O’Donnell Memorial Park was transformed into a festive holiday market filled with dozens of local vendors offering food, gifts, and seasonal treats. The festivities began earlier in the day at Skate Zone with the Winter Wonderland Festival, organized by Atlantic City Youth Services, making the holiday celebration a full-day experience for families across the city.
Mayor Small and the City of Atlantic City extend their sincere thanks to the Office of Special Events, the Public Information Office, and Good Time Tricycle Productions for their outstanding work in planning and promoting this unforgettable event. Special appreciation is also given to Atlantic City Police, Fire, Emergency Management, Public Works, and all city, county and state Public Safety officials who worked diligently to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all.
