The City of Atlantic City Planning Department is launching a new initiative to honor, preserve, and elevate the history of the Northside community. The Historic Black History Walking Tour Project will highlight the people, landmarks, and stories that helped shape Atlantic City.

We are asking residents, community leaders, churches, educators, families, and local historians to share materials that will help us build an accurate and meaningful tour, including:

• unity figures, businesses, and landmarks

Community Interview Day

• City Hall — Room 206
• 10 AM – 3 PM

Community members are invited to stop in and share their stories or materials in person. Your contribution will help ensure that this project reflects the true voice and legacy of Black Atlantic City.
