Atlantic City to Honor Longtime McDonald’s Owners for Decades of Service with Street Naming
Posted October 21, 2025The City of Atlantic City is proud to recognize two pillars of the community, Rita and Anthony Mack, by naming a city block in their honor. The Macks, who owned and operated the city’s McDonald’s restaurants for nearly 40 years before their recent retirement, have left their mark on Atlantic City—not just as business owners, but as community champions.
Please join Mayor Marty Small, Sr., members of City Council, community leaders and Atlantic City residents for a special ceremony on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 as Arctic Avenue between Michigan and Arkansas Avenues becomes “Rita and Anthony Mack Avenue.”
You can also watch the ceremony live at 12:00 PM on the city’s website.
