Atlantic City Marathon will Cause Temporary Delays & Road Closures This Weekend
Posted October 16, 2025The 2025 Atlantic City Marathon Race Series will take place on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19. The two-day event will have athletes running throughout the Atlantic City and the Downbeach communities. The races will begin on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Motorists will see an influx of traffic on both days. Residents and visitors are urged to use caution when walking on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City and Ventnor. In addition, bicycles will be prohibited on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City and Ventnor Sunday from 8 am to 3pm.
The marathon on Sunday will impact the traffic flow in Atlantic City. Motorists should expect major delays and detours in the following areas:
-Brigantine Connector/Atlantic City Expressway Tunnel will be closed from 5:30 am to 11:30 am
-Bacharach Boulevard between MLK Boulevard & Brigantine Connector will be closed from 5:30 am to 9:00 am
-Renaissance Point Boulevard closed from 5:30 am to 11:30 am
-Borgata employee parking & delivery entrance will be closed from 6:00 am to 10:00 am
-Employee access road to Borgata, entrance to Borgata, Harrah’s, and Golden Nugget will experience delays from 7:00 am to 10:30 am
-Bacharach Boulevard, New Hampshire Avenue, and Melrose Avenue will experience delays from 7:00 am to 10:30 am
There will be no parking along the route of the events
