Posted October 01, 2025As we begin the fall season, the City of Atlantic City has a series of free events for the community planned throughout the month of October!
CDBG Day 2025 – October 3rd
This free community event highlights the impact of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and celebrates the organizations dedicated to serving the residents of Atlantic City. Come learn, connect, and celebrate the power of community on October 3rd from 12:00-2:00 PM in the CDBG Office on the 5th floor of City Hall
AC REC First Friday – October 3rd
The Atlantic City Recreation division is hosting First Friday each month, with the initial event October 3rd at Atlantic City Skate Zone. The 21+ crowd can come out to enjoy music, card games, ice skating and overall chill vibes from 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
Flood Safety Workshop – October 7th
Do you know what to do when floods strike? Join us for an important Flood Safety Workshop on October 7th at 12:00 PM at 1062 Brigantine Boulevard presented by the Atlantic City Fire Department. Learn how to protect yourself and your family and receive a FREE Flooding Preparedness Kit upon completion.
Roll Out! Skating Party – October 8th
The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs invites you a Roller Skating Party at Young’s Skating Center on October 8th in celebration of National Coming Out Day! Pick up at City Hall will be 7:00 PM and and drop off at 10:30 PM
Drive-In Movie & S’mores Night – October 17th
The Mayor's Office and Multicultural Services division invite you to a fun-filled family event at Bader Field. Enjoy a family-friendly movie under the stars right from your vehicle and make some s’mores while you’re there! Refreshments will be provided. Free hats and gloves are available; pre-registration is required.
Harvest Town – October 25th
The city’s annual Harvest Festival has grown into Harvest TOWN, moving from City Hall to Gardner's Basin October 25th from 2:00-6:00 PM. Come out and enjoy food, games, rides and more in this ultimate fall celebration. Don't forget to bring candy for the kids if you have a booth set up! Nonprofit and community organizations can register to participate now to connect with the community.
