The City is looking for residents who are environmental professionals or who are interested in environmental causes. These causes include, but are not limited to:

• Gardening, tree planting, pollination, green buildings, water conservation, flood prevention, climate change, urban heat island effect, trash/litter, parks, food security, biodiversity
   
• The commission would serve as a critical advisory board for the city’s leadership on environmental issues, advocating for sustainable policies and supporting local initiatives that enhance food security, community well-being, green spaces, and ecological resilience. Residents’ insights and experience would be invaluable in shaping a more sustainable future for our city.

• This is a volunteer position. Members shall serve without compensation
• Meetings will be held each month
• Each member has a term of (3) years; Alternate members will have a term of (2) years
