From family fun to historical celebrations to networking – the City of Atlantic City invites the community to the below events happening in the month of August. Click the event title to get more information.

August 15 – All Wars Memorial Building 100th Anniversary Celebration
The City of Atlantic City is celebrating the 100th anniversary of historic All Wars memorial Building this year, capped off with a celebration on August 15, 2025 at the facility starting at 5:00 PM. Enjoy music, delicious food, and more as we honor veterans, heritage, and history. This celebration is free and open to all. Let’s come together as a community to pay tribute to all who have served and recognize the All Wars Memorial Building as a beacon of community.

August 24 – Streets to the Sidelines
The Atlantic City Reentry Services division has partnered with Chosen One – an area mentor program serving at risk youth from Atlantic City – for the “From the Streets to the Sidelines” Flag Football game.

Come out on August 24th, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Dolphin Field, enjoy some food and flag football action as the mentors take on the mentees, and show some community support!

August 26 – Black Business Expo
Atlantic City’s first Black Business Expo is coming to All Wars Memorial Building on August 26, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM. This free event will bring together entrepreneurs, vendors, and the community for an evening of networking, discovery, and opportunity. Attendees will have the chance to explore a diverse marketplace — all from Black-owned businesses.

August 27 – Back to School Drive-In Movie Night
Let’s kick off the school year with a night of fun under the stars!  On August 21st, 2025 at 7:00 PM, join us at Bader Field for a free Drive-In Movie featuring family-friendly entertainment, snacks, and back-to-school supplies for registered guests. 

Pack the car, grab your blankets, and get ready for a movie night the whole family will remember! 

August 31 – Great Day Rainbow Beach Bash
Beach vibes + pride energy = the ultimate summer day! 

Join the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs for this Beach Bash from 1:00-6:00 PM at Rainbow Beach at Park Place — a celebration of love, community, and sunshine!  Expect music, games, dancing in the sand, and a welcoming space where everyone can be their authentic selves. Bring whatever you need for a summer day at the beach!

This event offers attendees a chance to make meaningful connections, learn about innovative products and services, and directly support local and regional entrepreneurs.
