City Hall Powers Up with New EV Charging Stations
Posted July 29, 2025As part of the commitment to clean energy, the City of Atlantic City has installed six new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at City Hall, located at 1301 Bacharach Boulevard.
Partnering with leading EV network ChargePoint, the city has introduced:
- Four DC fast chargers for rapid recharging in about 20–30 minutes
- Two Level 2 chargers for longer charging sessions
These stations are now available to the public. They can be easily located using the ChargePoint app, which allows drivers to find available chargers, start a session, and receive updates when charging is complete.
Supporting a Cleaner Future
Since transportation is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions, expanding EV infrastructure is a crucial step toward Atlantic City’s clean energy goals. These new stations make it easier for EV drivers to live and work in Atlantic City—and they demonstrate how local government can lead by example in advancing environmental progress.
