City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. held a special celebration at Atlantic City’s iconic Steel Pier to recognize the 2025 winners of the Mayor Marty Small, Sr. Scholarship.  This year, 113 scholarships of up to $10,000 each (half of the money is for the fall 2025 semester and half is for the spring 2026 semester) were awarded to Atlantic City residents entering their freshman, senior, junior or senior year of college in the fall, as well as residents pursing a Masters or Doctorate degree or who plan to attend Trade School. Many of the recipients were on hand to accept a replica check of $10,000, although the city sends the actual money right to the university.
