The first weekend of summer is a busy one in Atlantic City with a handful of free events!

Youth Carnival
Step right up and enjoy the City of Atlantic City’s first ever Youth Carnival this Saturday at Bader Field and Atlantic City Skate Zone! There is no better way to celebrate the end of the school year than by children and adults of all ages experiencing an unforgettable afternoon of FREE attractions, rides, games, ice skating, food and so much more. So come one, come all to this family-friendly event organized by the City of Atlantic City Youth Services division, Recreation division and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events.

Free Summer Concert at Gardner’s Basin (North 2 Shore)
The National R&B Music Society is back with their Summer Concerts at Gardner’s Basin, bringing Atlantic City’s legendary R&B scene to life.

This sun-soaked celebration of rhythm and blues features the city’s most electrifying performers along with legends of the music in one unforgettable day of music. From 1:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Saturday, June 21st, immerse yourself in the smooth grooves and infectious energy that have defined Atlantic City’s rich musical heritage.

The Great Pride Festival
All are welcome at this spectacular celebration of love, identity, and inclusion happening in the Great City of Atlantic City. The Great Pride Festival – a partnership between the city’s LGBTQ+ Affairs and Multicultural Services Offices, Byrdcage and Miss'd America Pageant - will feature live performances, food, fun, and community resources for all ages at O’Donnell Park from 12:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd. Celebrate Pride Month with us and thank you to all the sponsors of this event! 

Bash at Back Sov (North 2 Shore)
Whether you come for the skate competition, the music or the community vibes, you’ll leave this event understanding why spaces like this matter. Bash at Back Sov takes place at the end of Sovereign Avenue from 1:00 – 7:00 PM. Between acts, explore a marketplace of local vendors showcasing Atlantic City’s creative spirit. Refuel with diverse food options and cold drinks while you connect with fellow culture-seekers. Every raffle ticket purchased, and every vendor visited supports Skate AC’s mission to create safe, creative spaces for youth through skateboarding.
