Earn Money for Cleaning Your Neighborhood - Atlantic City’s Clean Communities Initiative Returns
Posted June 11, 2025The City of Atlantic City is announcing the return of the Department of Public Works’ Clean Communities program for summer 2025, marking the fourth straight summer of this initiative. The Public Works Department will be in a different Atlantic Ward each day cleaning the neighborhoods while encouraging residents to take pride in their community and join them. Residents can earn money in the process. The Public Works Department is seeking groups of five or more individuals to clean a minimum of four blocks twice a month to receive a $200 stipend per month. Trash bags, gloves, grabbers and vests will be provided.
Interested residents must pick up an application at the Public Works Office in room 604 at City Hall (1301 Bacharach Blvd) where further instructions will be provided.
