Atlantic City Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month with Flag Raising, Other Events

The City of Atlantic City is hosting and co-sponsoring multiple events throughout the month of June in recognition of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. These events are organized by the City, in collaboration with “AC Pride” and “Be Visible AC.”
On June 15th, 2022 the City will hold its 2nd Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony in the City Hall Courtyard from 3:00-4:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. The LGBTQ+ Progress Flag will be proudly flown through the end of the month. Following the ceremony, the LGBTQ+ Pride Month Kickoff Social takes place at Ryfe Restaurant and Bar located at 4104 Ventnor Avenue in Atlantic City from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
On June 18th, 2022 the community is invited to the Show us Your Shoes Boardwalk Rainbow Ride, from Newport Avenue to Park Place at 11 a.m. That will be followed by the Rainbow Beach Rededication at Boardwalk and Park Place at 11:30 a.m. The New York Avenue Historic Plaque Dedication follows at noon at the Anchor Rock Club.
On June 19th, 2022 the Leather & Lace Tea Dance Party takes place from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Rhythm and Spirits located at 129 S. Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City followed by Drag Me to Dinner from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at the same location.
On June 22nd, 2022 the Closing Celebration for LGBTQ+ Pride Month festivities will occur at Nucky’s Speakeasy located at 5211 Ventnor Avenue in Ventnor from 5:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
