Atlantic City came in at #3 on the Realtor.com list of the Most Affordable Beach Towns for Homebuyers in 2025 with median listing prices well under $250,000. Realtor.com says:

“Atlantic City by now has cemented its place among the nation's most affordable beach towns.

The city of just under 40,000 people boasts wide, well-maintained public beaches along the Jersey Shore, as well as one of the region’s most iconic wooden boardwalks lined with amusement park rides, shops, and snack shacks.”

Atlantic City also comes in at #2 on the Realtor.com list of The Top 10 Best Places for Veterans to Live in 2025 “not only for its vibrant beach culture, but also for its strong community support and many financial benefits for veterans,” according to the real estate platform.
