The Atlantic City Fire Department proudly promoted a new class of leaders during a ceremony held in City Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Four firefighters were elevated to the rank of battalion chief: Timothy Kuras, Ariel Beltran, Kyle Pollock, and Kenton Brookings. Additionally, the department recognized the promotion of the following individuals to the rank of captain: Jamieson Allen, Joseph Caprio, Joseph Welsh, Jack Rush, Thomas Higbee, and William Hamilton, Jr.

The event featured remarks from Fire Chief Scott K. Evans, Director Sean Riggin, DCA Commissioner Jacquelyn A. Suarez, and Mayor Marty Small, Sr., who also administered the oath of office to each honoree.
