Mayor Small and city officials will officially cut the ribbon on Atlantic City’s iconic Pop Lloyd Stadium, which has undergone a complete renovation since last summer. No longer just a baseball field, the new Pop Llouyd stadium is now a multipurpose sports hub for other field sports like football, soccer and more. The field now features beautiful artificial blue turf plus brand-new dugouts, locker rooms, bleachers, restrooms, lighting and fencing.

The ribbon cutting ceremony takes place at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Pop Lloyd stadium, located at N. Indiana and Huron Avenues. The public is invited to attend, or you can watch the ceremony live online.

And on May 1, 2025 at 7 PM, the entire community is invited to the first game on the new and improved field as Atlantic City High School hosts Oakcrest High School.
