Atlantic City Boardwalk Improvements Continue
Posted April 09, 2025Repair work totaling $26 million is ongoing along the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Work is happening this spring in front of Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall as part of a $6 million project funded by the USEDA. Decking work will continue to Arkansas Avenue.
And a second phase of Boardwalk repair work is scheduled to begin this fall from New Jersey Avenue to Tennessee Avenue. This phase is funded by $20 million from Governor Phil Murphy’s $100 million Boardwalk Preservation Fund. Atlantic city was granted the highest amount awarded by the State.
