Atlantic City Anti-Violence Division’s Job Fair Assists More Than 600 Individuals Seeking Employment
Posted March 12, 2025The City of Atlantic City’s One Neighborhood Evolution Anti-Violence Division organized a Job Fair on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at All Wars Memorial Building that helped more than 600 individuals ages 18 and older connect with 40 companies in the area. Job seekers gained valuable networking connections and were given on-the-spot interviews with potential employers, consisting of Atlantic City Casinos, local dining establishments and other area businesses, organizations and service providers. Some participants received immediate job offers, while many others successfully secured follow-up interviews.
The Anti-Violence division partnered with the Atlantic County Probation Department, the Atlantic/Cape May Superior Court System, and Volunteers of America for this Job Fair. A goal of this event was to reduce violence through economic empowerment and by creating opportunities. The Anti-Violence division handled the planning and organization of the event, the City of Atlantic City’s Human Resources Department held interview workshops, the Probation Department held resume workshops and the Superior Courts were doing expungements.
The Anti-Violence division also has a Lift Warrant event scheduled for April 9th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at All Wars Memorial Building (1510 Adriatic Avenue) where individuals with outstanding matters in Atlantic City Joint and Atlantic County Central Municipal Courts will have the opportunity to see a judge.
