The Atlantic City Police Department recently held a swearing-in ceremony for 19 recruits who are about to embark on their Police Academy training.

 

Among the recruits is Nimit Patel (pictured with ACPD Chief of Police James Sarkos) who is very familiar with the ACPD family, as he is a former Atlantic City Police Explorer. The Explorers is an ACPD program for local youth ages 14-21, teaching them what it takes to embark on a career in Law Enforcement.
