The Atlantic City Youth Services division organized a free trip right before Christmas to the Big SNOW Experience at American Dream Mall. This trip also marked the first time the City’s new charter bus, purchased mostly through state funding, was used.

 

This bus was acquired for the youth and seniors of Atlantic City to go on free trips such as this one, ultimately saving the taxpayers money as the cost to rent these buses far exceeds the purchase price.

 

Mayor Small helped send off the kids by reminding them they are a priority and the city “will not sacrifice one penny to give you all the tools you need to succeed via programming, equipment or transportation.”

 

The charter bus is an addition to the fleet of vehicles acquired by the city for youth and seniors.
