The Atlantic City Fire Department held a Graduation Ceremony on August 17, 2024 for four recruits who completed their twelve weeks of training at the Anthony ‘Tony’ Canale Fire Training Center in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey: Marcus Holmes, Riley Howat, Sean Thompson and Dontra Whitaker

 

The Fire Academy Graduation was held at City Hall Council Chambers in Atlantic City. City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. administered the oath of office. Also in attendance at the ceremony were ACFD Chief Scott Evans, City Council President Aaron ‘Sporty’ Randolph and City Council Vice President Kaleem Shabazz.

 

This marked the third Atlantic City Fire Department recruit graduation so far this year. We wish our new firefighters nothing but the best in their new careers!
