Each Summer, the elected City Councilman for each Ward holds a Steel Pier Day for residents in their Ward, who get to enjoy the amusement park rides on the given day from 1:00-3:00 PM for free.

Residents must show an ID for proof of residency and children must be accompanied by an adult.
