City of Atlantic City Celebrates Juneteenth, City Buildings Closed June 19th

In recognition of Juneteenth, the City of Atlantic City celebrated on two separate occasions at City Hall leading up to the holiday.
 
The Mayor’s Office and Multicultural Office held a Juneteenth employee appreciation breakfast in the lobby. This was followed by a Juneteenth Ceremony in the lobby organized by the Mayor’s Office of Special events, emceed by City Hall Councilman Kaleem Shabazz.
 
City Hall and all City of Atlantic City Government buildings are closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 for Juneteenth. City buildings will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday, June 20th.
