On June 3, 2024, the 2300 block of Arctic Avenue between Georgia Avenue and Mississippi Avenue will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between the hours of 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  In addition, there will be no parking permitted in this block.  This road closure is due to movie production in the area.

 

ACPD officers will be on scene directing traffic.  A detour will be in place.  Motorists using Arctic Avenue can use Texas Avenue to head south to Atlantic Avenue.  Those continuing on Arctic Avenue will be routed north on Georgia Avenue to an access road that leads to Mississippi Avenue traveling south.
