Guarded Beaches in Atlantic City Start Memorial Day Weekend
Posted May 24, 2024On Saturday, May 25, 2024 the Atlantic City Beach Patrol will begin guarding the following beaches for the summer season:
Caspian Avenue (weekends only), New Hampshire Avenue, Connecticut Avenue, North Carolina Avenue, South Carolina Avenue, Kentucky Avenue, MLK Blvd., Michigan Avenue, Mississippi Avenue, Texas Avenue, Brighton Avenue, Chelsea Avenue, Albany Avenue, Bartram Avenue, and Montgomery Avenue.
Lifeguards are on duty in Atlantic City from 10 AM until 6 PM. More beaches will be guarded every few weeks as the season progresses. All beaches will be fully operational by the last week of June.
The ACBP reminds you to always remain aware of your surroundings and exercise due care for your own safety and the safety of others around you. Always check for water warnings or check with a lifeguard before you swim. DO NOT swim at unguarded beaches. A list of daily guarded beaches can be found here.
