Atlantic City Sees First Snow Accumulation in 2 Years

Posted January 19, 2024

A Friday, January 19, 2024 system saw measurable snow accumulate in Atlantic City for the first time in two years. As snowfall began to taper off Friday afternoon, the big concern turned to potential icy conditions. A Code Blue remains in effect in Atlantic City through Monday morning. The Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management urges motorists to be extra cautious if you must travel the first part of the weekend, and to take your time. Ahead of the storm, the Atlantic City Department of Public Works treated roads and sidewalks throughout the city. City Hall and all city buildings closed at 1:00 p.m. Friday.
