The City of Atlantic City has issued a Code Blue beginning 8:00p.m. on January 4, 2024, until 8:00a.m. on January 6, 2024. The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts that the wind-chill temperature will drop below 32 degrees during this period. 

 

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission will open its doors to all who need shelter and food. The Atlantic City Police Department, as available, will provide transportation to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. 

 

During the Code Blue, hypothermia can be deadly in a relatively short period. The Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management urges you to check on the elderly and bring pets in from the elements.
