On September 28, 2023, after 28 weeks of training, the Atlantic County Police Training Center held a police academy graduation. One Atlantic City police officer and 11 Special Law Enforcement Officer, Class II were members of Class 27. The ceremony was held at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Chief of Police James Sarkos and Deputy Chief Stacy Herrerias presented each Atlantic City officer with their graduation certificate. The new officers will be assigned within the Operations Division.
