Atlantic City Project Clean Community Initiative Returns Monday, June 5th
Posted June 02, 2023The City of Atlantic City Department of Public Works "Project Clean Community" initiative returns for the summer on June 5th, 2023. Our crews spend time in different Atlantic City wards cleaning up the neighborhoods, and the goal is to keep them clean by promoting personal responsibilities through education and community involvement. Members of the community are encouraged to join our Public Works crews to collect trash.
"Project Community" begins in the 1st Ward on June 5th, where Mayor Marty Small, Sr. and the City department heads will assist in cleaning up Fisherman’s Park. Then crews will be in the 2nd Ward on June 6th, 3rd Ward on June 7th, 4th Ward on June 12th, 5th Ward on June 13th, and the 6th Ward on June 14th. Crews will be back in each Ward every two weeks.
While “Project Clean Community” is in your neighborhood, dumpsters will be placed in the below locations:
- 1st Ward: New Hampshire Ave. & Parkside
- 2nd Ward: Adriatic Ave.
- 3rd Ward: Indiana Ave. (across from MLK school)
- 4th Ward (Venice Park): Ohio Ave. & Kuehnle Ave.
- 4th Ward (2nd location): Georgia & Island Ave.
- 5th Ward: Sovereign Ave. & Sunset Ave.
- 6th Ward: Windsor & Winchester Ave.
